Closing ceremony

The closing ceremony of MEMO took place in the hall of the Heitere Fahne cultural centre. The unique hall is artistically decorated and mostly features Mexican Calaveras and bird imagery. After an apero on the terrace, the highly anticipated announcement of the MEMO exam results finally came, which, just like the opening ceremomy, began and ended with musical performances. The medalists were called on stage in ascending order of points. There are separate rankings for the individual and team exams. Contestants made sure to display their national flags and mascots while receiving their medals. Finally, everyone served themselves dinner in the hall and ate cheerily.
